About K. Connelly Homes & Landscapes

The mower's low hum rolls out over a Wellfleet yard, and a few feet on a garden bed is set by hand — plant by plant, roots pressed into the sandy Outer Cape soil off Commercial Street. K. Connelly Homes & Landscapes tends this narrow forearm of the Cape, where pitch pine thins to kettle ponds and the harbor light silvers the flats at low tide, coaxing lawns and new plantings to hold their green against salt wind and shifting dune. A deck squares up above the marsh grass, a patio finds its level, a commercial frontage is edged clean, and the ground begins to read as cared for. When winter pares the moors down to bare oak and cold gray water, the plow rolls out early to open a drive before the town has stirred. From the tip of Provincetown down through Truro, Eastham, Orleans and Chatham, the work leaves its own quiet mark on the land.
