About James V.P. Organic Land Care & Tree Service

Wellfleet is pitch pine and scrub oak, kettle ponds set down in sand, and a harbor that empties twice a day onto flats that shine like tin. James V.P. Organic Land Care & Tree Service works that narrow, wind-scoured ground from the Truro line down to the Eastham border. Trees grow low and stubborn against the salt here, so pruning is a light hand — take the dead, keep the shape the wind gave it — while trimming clears roofs, decks and the sandy drives that wind through the scrub. Removal comes for the pine that has finally given up on the bluff side. And when a winter storm comes ashore at Cahoon Hollow, cleanup means the road out is open again before the tide turns.
