About Towne & Country Gardens

Out at Ware Center the land opens up — stone walls, hayfields, the white meeting house on its rise, and sky enough to watch the weather change in. Towne & Country Gardens works that whole spread of town: mowing, edging, trimming and mulch through the growing season, cleanups when the frost lifts and again when it returns, and plowing, shoveling and salting through the cold half of the calendar. Up here the yards run to acreage and the driveways run long, so the work gets measured in ground covered more than hours spent. Even so, the small things decide it — a border cut clean, a walk cleared wide enough for two people to pass. That is what makes a place look tended.
