About Velvet Green Organic Lawn Care

Prospect Street holds its dew until nine, and June grass comes up thick there under the old shade trees. Velvet Green Organic Lawn Care tends Wakefield lawns on a program built around the soil — mowing at a height that lets the turf shade its own roots, feeding, overseeding, trimming and edging, with cleanups at each end of the season. Thin spots get seed and time rather than a quick fix, because that is what actually holds. By August the difference shows in the color and in how the lawn takes a dry week without flinching. Grass grown that way is a slow pleasure, and it keeps.
