About ARL Landscaping

Morning comes off Lake Quannapowitt in a low silver haze, and by the time it burns off, ARL Landscaping already has a mower running somewhere on the Wakefield side of the water. The work is easy to name and hard to do well: grass cut to an even height, edges drawn clean along walks and beds, clippings gone before anyone steps outside. Spring cleanups open a yard back up after a long gray stretch; fall cleanups close it down again with the leaves hauled off for good. Mulch goes down dark and level, and the beds hold that shape deep into August. A lawn in this town is a small public thing — people walk past it on their way around the water — and ARL Landscaping tends it that way.
