About Jonia's Landscaping

Five Corners is empty at dawn in January, the Lagoon lying still and steaming, and the whole of Tisbury feels like a town holding its breath between boats. Jonia's Landscaping runs the winter work through exactly those hours — plowing driveways and lots, clearing walkways, sanding and salting when wet island snow sets overnight into a skin of ice. Vineyard weather rarely commits to anything: rain, then snow, then rain again, and the timing is most of the skill. Opening a driveway before the harbor wind packs it solid is what the night is for. By the time the first ferry lands the work is invisible, which is the idea.
