White's Lawncare Plus

About White's Lawncare Plus

September light in Taunton comes in at an angle, low over Church Green and the flat country running out toward the Boyden refuge, and the grass takes a second wind after the August heat. That stretch of the calendar is a favorite for White's Lawncare Plus — mowing, edging, trimming, tidying beds and borders, and leaf cleanups once the canopy finally lets go. The work is unglamorous and highly visible, which is a rare pairing. Anyone can tell a yard that has been kept from one that has not, from the road, at twenty-five miles an hour. Keeping a whole street's worth of them on the right side of that line is the point.
