About T.J.B. Services

Snow reaches Taunton after dark more often than not, pushing up from the southeast, and by the time it crests Prospect Hill it is coming sideways through the streetlights. That is the hour T.J.B. Services starts moving — plowing lots, opening drives, and knocking down the hard ridge the town plow throws across a driveway mouth at two in the morning. Snow removal is the whole of the trade here, and its measure is plain: whether a car gets out at six and a carrier gets up the walk at ten. There is a real satisfaction in a lot scraped down to dark asphalt while the storm is still falling, in banks pushed back square and clear of the sightlines. Taunton comes first, then out toward Raynham, Berkley, Norton and Easton as the night allows.
