The Green Door

About The Green Door

Some mornings open under a low silver haze, the kind that beads on every blade before the sun has any say in it. The Green Door works those first cool hours — mowing while the grass still holds the night's damp, then edging the walks so the line between lawn and concrete reads clean as a pencil stroke. By the time the heat leans in, the trimming is finished and the walk is swept clear, and the yard has that combed, quiet look a place gets when somebody has paid attention to it. This is lawn care around Taunton, where things grow fast in season and don't wait politely; a stand of grass can go shaggy in one rainy week. So the rhythm stays steady and unhurried, cut after cut, keeping green things in their proper shape. The reward is small and real — a homeowner pulling in at dusk to a lawn that looks like it decided to behave.
