About C.J. Sylvester Corp.

A storm on Route 44 announces itself by the way the streetlights go soft and the traffic thins to nothing. C.J. Sylvester Corp. runs snow removal through those hours across Taunton — plowing lots and drives, clearing walkways, spreading salt and sand where ice sets up first. Midnight to daylight is when most of it happens, because the whole point is that nobody else has to think about it. Blade down, a back-drag at the garage door, piles stacked where they won't blind a driver pulling out. By morning the pavement is open and the day simply starts, which is exactly the result worth working for.
