About Dimauro Landscaping

A nor'easter reaches Swampscott from the water first — the bay goes grey, the wind swings around, and by midnight Humphrey Street is under it. Dimauro Landscaping works the hours nobody sees, plowing driveways and cutting walkways open so the town can get out in the morning. Coastal storms come heavy and wet along this shore, the kind of snow that packs hard against a garage door, and there is no substitute for arriving early and coming back after the wind has had its say. Between passes the streetlights turn the whole street orange and still. By first light the drives are open, and that is the entire point of the night.
