About Stephen A. Roberts Landscape

The land along Longhill Street stands on a terrace above the Connecticut, and on a clear June evening the light comes across the valley and lies flat over the lawns there. Stephen A. Roberts Landscape tends that kind of property — mowing to an even height, edging walks and drives, trimming the borders where lawn meets planting. Grass on the bluff dries quickly and takes a stripe beautifully, which makes the finished pass worth stepping back to look at. Cleanups come in April, and again once the leaves have let go in late fall. Steady, seasonal, visible work, and the houses wear it well.
