Green Essence

About Green Essence

May in Forest Park is a whole argument for lawn work — Porter Lake flat as glass, the greens arriving all at once, everything in a hurry. Green Essence tends Springfield yards in that same key: mowing at a height that lets the turf shade its own roots, edging beds until the mulch line reads like a drawn border, hauling off whatever winter left behind. Autumn gets the long, patient cleanup, when the maples let go and a lawn wants to enter the cold uncluttered. Summer gets the weekly cut, the trimmed hedge, the swept walk. It is care measured in seasons, and it shows most in the ordinary weeks nobody photographs.
