C&B Landscaping and Snow Removal

About C&B Landscaping and Snow Removal

Three in the morning on Sumner Avenue, and the plows are the only thing moving. C&B Landscaping and Snow Removal runs the driveways and lots of East Forest Park while the neighborhood sleeps, pushing the banks back square and salting the walks before anyone has to make a decision about their morning. A valley storm can drop six inches between the eleven o'clock news and sunrise, and the whole difference between a hard day and an ordinary one is whether the pavement is clear at six. The reward is small and specific — a swept apron at the foot of the drive, a path to the steps, headlights on bare asphalt. Then back out again for the second round when the wind fills it all in.
