About Riverside Services

Fog sits on the Sudbury River below Cordaville through most of the shoulder seasons, and it burns off just about when the first mower starts. Riverside Services keeps the yards on those old mill-village streets in order — cutting, string-trimming, edging the walks, and clearing lawns and beds each spring and fall. Come winter the work turns to plowing driveways, shoveling steps and stairways, and laying salt and sand on the pitches that ice over in the shade of the mill blocks. Fayville and Southville hold onto their grades and their curves, so nothing here is a straight shot and every property has to be learned. What carries across all of it is one simple aim: leave a place better than it looked an hour ago.
