About Geeleher Enterprises Inc

On the far side of a storm the Manhan runs dark between white banks, and the light that follows is the kind Southampton only gets in winter. Geeleher Enterprises Inc is usually still working when it shows up, finishing the drifts out on the flats east of town where open field lets the wind run unopposed and refills a driveway twice before dusk. The work is plowing, shoveling the tight spots a blade can never reach, and putting sand down where ice has set into the wheel ruts. A lot cleared corner to corner is a small and obvious kind of good, and it does not get old to look back at one. By the time the valley goes blue in the evening, the routes are finished and the town can get on with itself.
