About HS Landscaping and Masonry

Somerville Avenue was a cart road hauling milk into Boston long before it was anything else, and its granite curbs still hold the line between street and yard. HS Landscaping and Masonry keeps the green side of that line — mowing the small lawns, trimming and edging tight to stone and step, shaping shrubs, and mulching beds so they hold their shape all summer. Midsummer here is hot brick and long shadows, and a cut lawn against old granite looks better than either does alone. Each spring the yards get opened and cleared; each fall the leaves come off before the frost sets them down. Straight edges, clean corners, nothing left on the sidewalk.
