About The Turf Manager

Early spring in Shrewsbury smells like wet soil and thawing thatch, and the grass wakes up well before anyone is ready for it. The Turf Manager reads that ground for a living — mowing at the right height, trimming and edging where lawn meets everything else, clearing the matted winter out so green can come through. A lawn is not decoration; it is a living surface that answers to what you do and when you do it. From the first cleanup of the season to the last leaf hauled off in late fall, the schedule is the craft. Shrewsbury has the soil for good turf, and it shows once somebody manages it.
