Route 6 through Seekonk wakes early, and in a February storm it wakes earlier still. Country Club Paving Company runs snow work on that clock — plowing driveways and lots, clearing walkways, spreading salt so the first car out of a garage finds bare pavement instead of a guess. In the warm half of the year the same attention goes to lawns: mowing on a schedule, trimming the corners a mower can't reach, cleanups at both ends of the season. A plowed drive that meets the street square, with no ridge left across the apron, is a small thing that makes somebody's entire morning. The routes run the Seekonk streets and the neighborhoods on either side of the Rhode Island line.
