About Frank R Snow Inc

A nor'easter comes into Scituate on the tide, and the wind pushes salt water part way up the streets behind the seawall before it is finished. Frank R Snow Inc plows and sands through that — driveways and lots opened, sand on the slick harbor grades, salt where spray has iced the pavement over. Storms here get measured in tides as much as inches, so the work goes in rounds: clear, wait, clear again. When it finally lets up, Lawson Tower stands out white against a scoured blue sky and the harbor road is passable. Getting a town moving again after a night like that is worth every hour it takes.
