About Coastal Removal & General Services

Out on the Plum Island Turnpike the snow doesn't fall so much as travel, driven flat across the Joppa flats until it finds a hedge or a truck or a doorway to pile against. Coastal Removal & General Services runs Newburyport's storms in that wind — plowing driveways and lots, cutting walkways open, and re-clearing what the gusts fill back in an hour later. Ice treatment goes on the packed spots where cold and spray have made a rink out of a driveway apron. Drifts get pushed to where they'll melt instead of where they'll block the view. When the sky finally clears over the water, everything that needs to be open is open.
