About Peace of Mind Services

Federal Street at two in the morning during a February storm is one of the quietest places in Massachusetts — streetlights hazed over, snow stacking on the ironwork, nobody out at all. Peace of Mind Services is out in it: plowing driveways and lots, shoveling walks and steps, clearing around mailboxes and hydrants, and salting the ice that hides under fresh fall. Downtown Salem parking is tight and the pushing has to be planned, or March arrives with a snowbank where two cars should be. The measure of a night's work is somebody opening a door at seven, seeing bare brick and a clear car, and simply going to work. No drama, which is the entire point.
