About PJC Ecological

Past the last row of houses the Great Marsh opens out in creeks and sedge, and in September the whole expanse turns the color of straw and low light. PJC Ecological works the green in front of it — mowing on a weekly turn, edging the walks, reaching what the deck cannot, and clearing the yard down to clean ground twice a year. Grass this close to salt air has its own moods, and reading them is most of the craft. There is a real pleasure in the last pass of a Friday: stripes even, driveway blown off, nothing left to do. Rowley looks well kept because people keep it.
