About DeStefano Landscape & Snow Company

Rowley opens east into the marsh, that great tawny sweep of grass and tidal creeks where the light changes about six times before noon. DeStefano Landscape & Snow Company mows and maintains the lawns along the ridge above it, keeping edges tight where yard meets salt hay and pasture. Winter here comes with a coastal bite — heavy, wet snowfall pushed inland off Plum Island Sound, then a hard freeze — so plowing, shoveling and clearing walkways runs from evening into the next morning. A drive opened before dawn on Route 1A is a small, complete accomplishment. Then May comes back, the marsh goes electric green, and the mowers pick up right where they left off.
