Wheeler Landscapes

About Wheeler Landscapes

Midnight in Rowe, and the snow is driving sideways off the ridges that rise above the Deerfield River. The hill roads here are steep, winding and far from anywhere, which is exactly why Wheeler Landscapes heads out while the storm is still falling. Drives that climb toward farmhouses and camps get plowed open, turnarounds cleared and doorways made passable, so nobody is left stranded partway up a grade. In a town this small and this high, a cleared drive is more than a convenience; it is the road back to everyone else. When dawn finally comes, the work shows plainly: clean dark lines winding up through white woods.
