Squire Road never really sleeps, and in a storm it is the first thing that has to be passable. Jneto Construction pushes snow in that predawn blue hour when the road plows have windrowed everything sideways and every driveway apron sits under a hard gray ridge. The job is drives, lots and walkways cleared to pavement, with salt down at the low spots that glaze over as soon as the temperature drops back. Cutting through a plow ridge is heavy, ugly work, and it is the whole difference between a car in the street and a car stuck at the curb. By the time traffic builds along Squire Road, the properties behind it are already open for the day.
