About Ascent Landscaping

Summer mornings on Reading Common arrive sideways, light slipping between the bandstand rails and across grass still holding the night's damp. That is the hour Ascent Landscaping likes for a first pass — mowing, trimming, edging and the cleanups that bracket the growing season. A yard gets read the way you'd read a slope: where the turf thins under the maples, where it runs thick and fast along the drive, where the mower should turn. Homes around Reading and out toward Wakefield, North Reading and Stoneham are on the weekly list. Some days the best part is just the smell of cut grass drifting up Main Street behind the truck.
