About Nelson Landscaping & Garden Center

By the middle of May the light in Randolph turns generous — evenings that stretch past supper, everyone suddenly outside, the whole town smelling like cut grass and turned soil. Nelson Landscaping & Garden Center spends that season in the lawns: mowing on a set schedule, edging along walks and drives, trimming the corners a mower cannot reach, carting the clippings away. Spring cleanups pull the winter out of the beds and mulch goes down behind them; fall cleanups put the yard to bed when the maples on the side streets go copper. A lawn is a slow thing — cut, watched, cut again — and it rewards whoever keeps showing up for it. The payoff is a plain green rectangle that somehow makes an entire house look right.
