Guaranteed Seed

About Guaranteed Seed

September is the month the ground remembers itself — soil still warm, nights turning cool, dew hanging on Penn's Hill until nine in the morning. That is the window Guaranteed Seed builds its year around: seeding thin lawns, overseeding tired ones, opening compacted Quincy ground so new grass has somewhere to go, and mowing through the establishment weeks. Coastal soil here runs sandy and shallow over stone, so a lawn is made rather than found, one careful pass at a time. Watching a bare patch go from raked earth to a faint green haze in ten days never gets old. Come the following June, that same lawn is simply the one on the street that looks like it has always been there.
