About Braintree Landscape & Design

Quincy sits on granite, and you can feel it underfoot — ledge shouldering up through the lawns, old quarry walls standing above the neighborhoods, thin soil that asks for patience. Braintree Landscape & Design mows and maintains yards across the city, and takes real satisfaction in coaxing a level, even green out of ground that was once broken for stone. The work is mowing, trimming, edging, mulch laid dark against the beds, and cleanups in spring and again when the maples along the side streets let go. A crisp edge along a Quincy walkway reads especially well against all that grey rock and brick. It is ordinary work, done carefully, on ground with a long memory.
