At the curled end of the Cape, the wind gets a vote in everything that grows. Salt comes over the dunes on the east wind, the moors behind town go rust and gold, and a Provincetown yard is a small argument won against the Atlantic. Summer work runs early here, before the streets fill and the harbor light goes white and flat.
