The dunes out toward Race Point rearrange themselves all winter, and when a real storm arrives the town does the same: Commercial Street empties, the shutters go up, and the snow comes in sideways off the bay. Snow & Snow works those nights — plowing driveways and small lots, shoveling and blowing out walks, steps and entries, then clearing again once the wind has refilled them. Outer Cape snow is heavy and wet and doesn't so much fall as get thrown, which makes an open path a genuine accomplishment. Morning is the reward: a clean drive, a doorway you can reach, and pale light coming up over an emptied-out town. Then the coffee places unlock their doors, and Provincetown goes back to being itself.
