About Cape Cod Excavating, Inc.

Weather comes at Provincetown from three sides, and a January nor'easter off the harbor arrives with salt in it and no interest whatsoever in the shape of a narrow street. Cape Cod Excavating, Inc. handles the snow end of that — plowing driveways and lots, clearing walkways and entries, pushing back whatever the wind stacks against a bulkhead overnight. Out at the end of the Cape the storms run wetter and heavier than inland, and the tide and the wind decide where the drifts finally land. Getting a property open by morning, with dark pavement and a clear doorway and a passable route down toward the pier, is the whole reason for being out at four a.m. Then the sky clears the way it only does here, and the harbor goes flat and bright again.
