Go a mile inland from Plymouth Harbor and the town becomes pitch pine and scrub oak, Myles Standish State Forest running south, needles underfoot and sand beneath that. Baldi Tree keeps lawns and yards livable in that landscape: mowing the clearings, trimming the ragged margins where woods meet grass, raking out needles and leaf litter each fall so the turf can breathe. October is the loudest month, when the oaks let go late and all at once. Spring is quieter — a cleanup, a first cut, beds edged and mulched while the pines are still dropping pollen. There is real satisfaction in handing a property back looking cared for right up to the tree line.
