About R.M.Cacciapaglia Landscape & Tree Corp.

January wind crosses Turnpike Lake with nothing at all to slow it, and by the time it reaches the back roads it is carrying the storm sideways. R.M.Cacciapaglia Landscape & Tree Corp. runs the snow work through those nights — plowing drives and parking areas, opening paths to the door, and spreading salt and sand wherever ice sets up hard. Plainville sits between the highway and the Rhode Island line, and its narrow side streets fill in fast when the wind is right. Plowing is a craft of returning: you take the same lot three times in one storm, and each pass has to be laid so the next one has somewhere to go. Then morning comes, the banks are cut back square, and the town gets moving again.
