About Greenhaven Turf Care LLC

Plainville's soil remembers the glacier — sandy, quick to drain, generous in a wet spring and stingy by the third week of August. Greenhaven Turf Care LLC works with that ground instead of against it: mowing at the right height on a regular turn, string trimming, edging, aeration and overseeding to thicken the stand, and cleanups when spring opens and autumn shuts. At six in the morning the dew still sits silver across a healthy lawn, and that is the hour you can read a yard honestly — where it is thin, where it is thriving. The aim is simple and slow: turf dense enough to crowd out trouble and soft enough to walk barefoot on in July. It is grass, and it is also the front of somebody's house.
