About Cardinal Lawn & Landscape

By mid-October the maples along the edge of the Plainville Town Forest have gone loud, and every wind sends another week of work down onto the lawns. Cardinal Lawn & Landscape meets that with rakes, blowers and a full truck: leaf cleanups, beds cut back and mulched, the last mowings taken low so the turf goes into the cold clean. There is a real satisfaction in a finished yard on a gray November afternoon — nothing left in the corners, the stone walls visible again, the grass a plain honest green. Through the growing months the same properties get their weekly mowing, string trimming and crisp edging along drives and walkways. The bird this company is named for stays here all winter, and so does the habit of showing up.
