About Woodland Home And Lawn

Out toward the eastern edge of Pittsfield the yards run right up against the tree line, and by mid-October the woods below October Mountain start sending everything they've got down into them. Woodland Home And Lawn works those shaded, leaf-fed properties: mowing where the grass grows thin and slow under the canopy, trimming back along stone walls and driveway shoulders, edging the beds, and then raking and hauling load after load when autumn empties the branches. A lawn under big trees needs a lighter, more patient hand than one out in the open, and that is the kind of ground this work knows. Spring brings the other half — clearing the winter debris and bringing the grass back up. The finish is a yard that looks tended right to where the forest begins.
