About Premier Property Maintenance

June mornings in Pittsfield start with mist coming off Onota Lake, and by eight the grass on the west side of town is bright and heavy with dew. Premier Property Maintenance times its week to that light — mowing while the ground is firm, trimming the fence lines and foundations, cutting the edge along a walk so it reads like a drawn line. Lawn care here means keeping up with a Berkshire summer that grows fast after rain and then goes brittle in an August dry spell, so the mow height changes with the month. There are spring and fall cleanups too, the raking out of a winter's worth of grit and the last leaves off the beds. The reward is small and it is the whole job: a yard that looks cared for from the sidewalk, every stripe running true.
