About Gordon Tree Service LLC

Pittsfield holds two lakes and the young Housatonic, and on a still winter morning the cold settles into that basin with Greylock standing white to the north. Gordon Tree Service LLC works the neighborhoods between Onota and Pontoosuc and out along the roads climbing toward October Mountain, where snow load and hard freezes test every crown in the city. Removals here are often a big sugar maple that has finally lost more than it can spare; trimming and pruning are the long game, keeping limbs off rooflines and weight off the ends of branches. When a Berkshire storm goes through, cleanup means the drive first, then the yard, then hauling every last piece of it away. A cleared driveway and a raked lawn are simple things, and doing them right is the whole job.
