About Damasca landscaping

Holmes Road runs south out of Pittsfield past hay meadows and old farmhouses, and in early summer the fields near Canoe Meadows go loud with birds at first light. Damasca Landscaping is out around then too -- mowing, trimming, edging clean lines along walks and beds, and hauling clippings off rather than leaving them to mat in the grass. When the year turns, those same properties get plowed, shoveled and salted, drives cut open wide enough to back a car out without a second thought. It is steady work in a place that changes its mind about the weather twice a week. What it leaves behind is a property that always looks tended and never looks fussed over.
