CK Homescapes & Property Maintenance

About CK Homescapes & Property Maintenance

In October the ballfields at Clapp Park hold their frost until nearly nine in the morning, and the light comes in low and gold across the grass. CK Homescapes & Property Maintenance works both ends of that season -- mowing, trimming and edging while the growing lasts, then plowing, hand-shoveling and spreading salt once the first real storm crosses the Berkshires. There is a craft to the changeover: the last cut of the year taken low and even, the plow stakes set before the ground locks up. Pittsfield does not ease into winter so much as arrive at it, usually overnight. The properties on this route are ready when it does.
