Beall Lawn & Landscapes

About Beall Lawn & Landscapes

Pelham sits up on the ridge, where the road climbs out of the Amherst valley and the air turns a few degrees colder before you've finished the hill. Beall Lawn & Landscapes works those hillside yards — the ones cut into slope and stone wall, where Amethyst Brook runs cold under hemlock all summer long. In the green months that means mowing, trimming and edging lawns that never quite lie flat, holding a clean line against woods that would happily take them back. In winter it means being out on Harkness Road and the long dirt drives before the school buses, plowing and treating ice so a Pelham morning starts on cleared pavement. There is real satisfaction in a hilltown driveway opened at first light, the ridge still blue, the whole day still ahead of you.
