The morning after a January storm, Peabody turns blue and gold — sun hard on the snowbanks, sledders already working the hill at Gardner Park, the air sharp enough to sting. WG Landscaping and Services has been out since long before that light, plowing driveways, clearing walks down to the pavement and salting the spots that will glaze over by noon. By summer the same routes go green: mowing on schedule, trimming the edges, keeping lawns even from the first cut of April to the last one in October. The city runs from tight streets near downtown to open ground on the west side, and both get the same finish. Nothing dramatic about it — just a yard, or a driveway, ready when you need it.
