About Lawnsmiths LLC

Palmer's mills once turned river water into work, and there is still something of the workshop in a well-kept property: measure, cut, finish, then come back and do it again. That is the trade here — mowing, trimming, edging, mulch and cleanups through the growing season, then plowing, shoveling and ice treatment on driveways, walks and lots once the ground goes hard. The old brick along the Ware River makes a fine backdrop for a lawn cut straight. Work held to a standard shows up in the details: a level cut, a clean edge, a driveway opened right out to its edges. Palmer and Thorndike, out to Ware, Monson, Belchertown and Wilbraham.
