About Ocean Edge Landscaping

Low tide at Skaket pulls the bay out past the sandbars, and on an August morning the flats shine like poured tin while Orleans wakes up behind them. Ocean Edge Landscaping is already at work by then, cutting lawns while the dew still holds and the air off the water is doing the cooling for free. Edges get squared, trimmings get cleared, and a yard that faces the bay gets the kind of upkeep salt spray makes necessary. In January the same shoreline throws a nor'easter across town, and the trucks answer with plows — drives opened, walks cleared, the drifted end of a driveway cut back to pavement. Two very different mornings, the same intent behind both.
