About Grassroots Lawn Care

Up on East Chop the wind comes straight in off the water, and it decides what kind of day a yard is going to have. Through the green months Grassroots Lawn Care mows, trims, edges, mulches, and clears each property out at the beginning and the end of the season. In winter the same houses get plowed and their walks shoveled, the icy patches sanded — the closed-up ones too, opened before their owners come back over on the boat. Ground near the Lagoon can freeze and thaw inside one afternoon, so the ice work matters as much as the pushing. Oak Bluffs, with the route running toward Vineyard Haven, Edgartown and West Tisbury.
