About Arena Enterprises

Winter arrives in Norton on a west wind that crosses the reservoir long before it ever reaches a driveway. Arena Enterprises works the hours nobody sees — plow lights sweeping Route 123 while the town is still under blankets. Plowing, driveway and walkway clearing, sanding and salting: the work is measured by whether a car backs out clean at seven in the morning. There is a real satisfaction in a lot opened end to end, the banks squared off, the pavement dark and wet and passable again. Norton first, then out toward Mansfield, Easton, Attleboro and Taunton as the storm allows.
