ElectroCut

About ElectroCut

Pomeroy Terrace at dusk in July: porch lights coming on, cut grass hanging in the humid air, the river bend a few blocks east still holding the day's heat. ElectroCut cuts lawns in this part of Northampton and out along the streets that run toward Hadley. Weekly mowing, trimming against fences and foundations, an edge that keeps a sidewalk a sidewalk, and clearing work when spring opens and when autumn closes. Old-neighborhood yards are small and full of obstacles — brick walks, iron rails, tree wells, corners a wide deck will never reach — so the trimmer does as much of the job as the mower. Cut properly, a little yard looks larger, and the whole street lifts a notch.
