About R Pellegrine & Son Landscaping and Construction

Spring shows up at Newton Lower Falls ahead of the rest of the city — the low ground by the river greening while the hills are still brown. R Pellegrine & Son Landscaping and Construction starts there in April, raking out what winter left, cutting back the beds, taking the first mow while the grass is still soft and quick. After that it is the weekly turn: mow, edge, trim, clear the pavement, keep the lines running the way the yard wants them to run. Along Quinobequin Road, where the lawns roll down toward the water, the mowing has to follow the grade instead of arguing with it. In November the year closes the way it opened, with a full cleanup and a yard put to bed.
